Libby’s tractor-trailers
.....At least three Libby’s tractor-trailers passed while I was blasting away on the treadmill (which I had inadvertently set at 38 minutes — I usually set it at 36 minutes — so I just did it).
The Canandaigua YMCA is on the main north-south drag through Canandaigua, state Route 332.
And the exercise gym fronts the building, so you can survey the constant parade from your treadmill as the traffic courses by out front.
For all I know it could have been the same Libby’s truck going around in circles — they all look the same.
But the trucks were about two minutes apart, and I don’t think that’s enough time to do a complete circle of Canandaigua.
The railroad-bridge over West Ave. is only 10-foot six-inches, and has already decapitated quite a few semis. Avoiding it would take about 10 minutes.
Libby’s has obviously taken a hint from mighty Weggers. Libby’s semis are shrink-wrapped with huge pictures of attractive vegetables.
A trailer is a rolling billboard.
The Libby’s trucks were probably coming from the Canandaigua Weggers.
Ship the stuff from Weggers’ warehouse in Rochester on a Wegmans truck, and Libby’s doesn’t get the rolling billboard.
