webcam
This here mighty Curve webcam (mighty Curve webcam) is apparently getting very popular.
I know, because if I attempt to fire it up around 9 a.m., I can’t get it. This has happened almost every day for the past two weeks.
I tried again yesterday (Saturday, 2/25) and got nothing — the broken image icon.
So I tried again yesterday afternoon about 2 p.m., and still nothing. I don’t get the message about the “maximum number of users,” so Linda tried it on her PC.
Nothing, and the message about the “maximum number of users.”
I tried again last night, got it, but of course it’s pitch-dark.
“Have I gotta leave this thing on all night?” (Didn’t. I ain’t desperate.)
I tried again at 7:25 this morning (Sunday, 2/26) and got it. The sun was coming up over the mighty Curve. TrackSnacks was still in shadow.
The mighty Curve was essentially devoid of snow. We have about six inches in our driveway: probably enough to blow it out. (“I can still see that oily, black pillar of smoke towering above that ship.”)
Soon a train was coming up (“awesome”), two GEs on the front.
I guess I have to fire it up at the crack of dawn. Soon that may not be enough.
As Linda says: “They gotta increase their bandwidth.”
This morning, while cranking this in and fiddling Flag-Out — 9-10:15 — three up, one down, and one kicker-set up. There ain’t nothin’ like the mighty Curve.
